The provision and maintenance of Muker Public Hall & Literary Institute CIO for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Muker, Upper Swaledale, without distinction of politicial, religious or other opinions, including use for: meetings, lectures, classes & exhibitions, other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation. with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants.
